Cinnarizine IP 20 mg
Dimenhydrinate BP 40 mg
This composition is used together to vertigo. the drugs block the action of histamine which is responsible for vertigo. they work by preventing the constriction of blood vessels of the inner ear.

About Composition
Cinnarizine-
Cinnarizine belongs to the class of calcium channel blocker. It mainly inhibits the signal transduction and between the vomiting centre of the hypothalamus and vestibular apparatus of the inner ear.
Dimenhydrinate-
It is over the counter drug and is used in the treatment of nausea, vomiting and motion sickness. It directly inhibits the stimulation of certain nerves in the brain.
Mechanism of Action
Cinnarizine reduces contraction of smooth muscles by blocking the L-Type and T-type voltage gated calcium channels.
Dimenhydrinate blocks the H1 receptor in vestibular center in the brain.
